From June 12 to September 11 stays are on a Saturday-to-Saturday weekly basis
except in cases of unexpected last-minute openings. Because all families arrive and depart within a matter of a few hours of each other, it is exceptionally easy for children and adults to feel at home and make friends.
Special shorter (and one longer) stays are available as follows:
- Memorial Day Weekend — May 28 to 31
- Special 8-day stay — May 28 to June 5
- Special 3 & 4-day stays — June 5 to June 12
Additional Charges: spa treatments, bar drinks, some fossil-fuel waterfront activities, one-on-one Parents' Helpers (if applicable), private lessons, VT State Tax. We have a 10% service charge, but absolutely no tipping to spoil the spontaneity and fun for which we've been famous for four generations as an all-inclusive family resort.
The Tyler Place exceeded our already high expectations. This was the first trip with our kids that we could call a vacation. My husband and I were able to spend some great quality time together and partake in the fun activities, like kayaking, canoeing, biking and tennis, which we usually can't do because we have two young kids (4-1/2 and 2). We were afraid that our 4-year-old son would complain about being left during the day (we can never get him to go to the kids program at resorts), but he loved group so much that he kept asking when he could go back. For a kid who complains every morning that he doesn't want to go to school, this was incredible. This was a win/win vacation for families - we get much-needed free time and the kids have a phenomenal camp experience. The bicycles for everyone is almost worth the price of admission on its own.
