Many Vermont specialty foods and locally grown produce are used daily, and meals are designed to please virtually all age groups.  Guests are always surprised-and delighted-at discovering this quality of food at a family resort as you'll discover in many of the guest testimonials on this website.  And because meals are served buffet style, you can enjoy as much as you wish.

The Bar opens at 5:30 each evening. It's a great place to meet new friends--or you can always have your drinks as twosome out on the Lakeview Deck or the Screened Porch.  After dinner when the children are tucked in for the night, the Bar is always open and there are inclusive adult evening activities planned--with plenty of sitters for Parents' Nights out.

Adult dining room -- a brilliant idea and it works! It was so nice to have peaceful meals and be able to meet people and talk over a meal without constant interruption. Plus, the food was excellent. We just love The Tyler Place. We look forward to this week out of all of the other 51 weeks of the year. I was reminded again this year about how great the food is. For the whole week, the family ate food that tasted fresh with awesome vegetables and homemade salad dressing. Even the "junk" food tasted wholesome and real, not processed. On another note, this year we discussed the joy of the "back ways", the nature trails with the gorgeous views.
