Dining for 'Adults-only' is fabulous. Meals are gourmet and great!! It is a win-win situation for everyone. ” — J & M, Berkeley Heights, NJ, Tyler Up — 2007
A great kick-off and extension to our too-short summer season. We look forward to our 8 days at Tyler Place all year. ” — A & P, Grosse Pointe, MI, Kingfisher — 2007
A unique and special place where our children have grown up over the past seven summers. A wonderful slice of Vermont and a great break from city life. ” — G & S, Washington, DC, Inn #104 — 2007
After a very long trip to get here with cancelled flights, etc. we could not wait for the 'Tyler Magic Wand' to hit with our Parents' Helper at the door to pick up the kids and bring them to their activities and to finally be alone in this beautiful surrounding and RELAX! ” — A & K, Montgomery, AL, Champlain — 2007
Although it rained a lot, you kept the kids entertained and happy. Thanks for making it such a great vacation! ” — R & A, Bedford, NH, Redhead — 2007
Another excellent year. Even with the rain, there were many activities to still enjoy. Watching the older children mud sliding was fun. I bet they will never forget that fun. My daughter was excited to put on rain boots and splash in the puddles. We can't wait to get back again next year. ” — K & M, Hillsborough, NJ, Ferncroft B — 2007
As always, relaxation starts as soon as we see The Tyler Place sign! The wonderful staff makes you feel welcome from check-in to check-out. I love the ability to be completely active (swim, sail, and run before breakfast) or to just curl up with a good book in one vacation and to be very special and then to share with the staff and other guests what we've all done is great. Thanks again for a fabulous end to our summer! ” — R & J, Berwyn, PA, Inn #104 — 2007
As promised, our kids loved the camp program from the very first day. They were able to do so many things - from fishing to Pirate boat rides - that they never get a chance to do at home. We loved the lake and the sailing, kayaking, pontoon boat... ” — G & J, New York, NY, Woodcrest — 2007
As usual, we had a great week. Even in spite of the rain, there's no place we'd rather be. ” — J & B, Canton, MA, Sandpiper — 2007
As we heard from fellow guests over and over again, there's no place like The Tyler Place! Our kids had a blast and we got - for the first time in our 14 years of marriage - time to spend with each other. It was worth every penny. We'll be back next year! Food was spectacular. I felt I could eat as healthy as I wanted (or not!). ” — E & L, Glendale, AZ, Partridge II — 2007
As you drive into The Tyler Place on Saturday, the stress literally drops away. We know our children will be well cared for, have exciting, memorable fun and learn something, too. The food: OH, THE FOOD!!! There is no other 'place' for families! ” — T & M, Frankenmuth, MI, Carriage House IV — 2007
At least one week a year couples can relax, rejuvenate and reconnect and rest assured that their children are happy. Kids at The Tyler Place aren't just being babysat, they are being engaged and enriched by the activities planned for them. The resort is so well-maintained that you'll feel at home enough to nap in the lounge if you want to. The Tylers (each family member) go out of their way to make you feel like part of their family and you'll come back again and again just for the chance to reunite with the Tylers and all your new family friends. ” — R & M, Nutley, NJ, Inn #3 — 2007
Beautiful setting. Great facilities. Wonderful people. A+ all around. ” — S & K, Chicago, IL, Mrs. T's — 2007
Best of all was how happy the 6 grandchildren were with the multitude of programs. This in turn helped our children relax and they as well as my husband and I loved the adult activities. You won me over completely with lobster night. ” — D & D, Ponte Verde, FL, Farmhouse South — 2007
Both boys, ages 8 & 10 - said this was the 'best vacation ever' and my 8-year-old asked if we could 'move here'. ” — C & B, Parkland, FL, Tyler Up — 2007
Considering the rain we had, it was a remarkably fun week. You can tweak this place with minor improvements, but all in all it's hard to improve The Tyler Place! This was our 9th summer and we still found fun new things to discover and try. It's also the place I feel safest trying out new things, whether it be rock climbing on the wall or yoga or arts and crafts. Thanks for carrying on the tradition! ” — S & J, Wayland, MA, Teal — 2007
Consistently, a fun and welcoming place where our kids are given the nurturance and guidance to safely defy gravity"! As for the parents, - wow! 21 delicious meals with adult conversation and great camp activities that bring us back to our carefree childhood days! Thanks, Tyler Place! ” — M & W, Park, Aurora, Park — 2007
Day in and day out, our lives are fairly unpredictable. We come to Tyler Place for our 'predictable' week of great food, great activities, great bike riding, great hiking, great water sports and truly wonderful, inspirational company with the other guests. ” — B & C, Boston, MA, Inn #4 — 2007
Everybody has a great time. Our boys start getting charged up about coming here in May and our baby (21 months) had a grand time (I'm told). I've never seen her sleep so well and be so happy. My husband and the boys really enjoy fishing here and Nature Dave is a T.P. treasure! ” — G & R, Richmond, VA, Popcorn — 2007
Everyone went out of their way to make us 'newbies' welcome, often trying to include us at the dinner table and in activities. A very relaxing and enjoyable stay. ” — I & A, Topsfield, MA, Cedar — 2007
Everything about Tyler Place exceeded our expectations. The staff were fabulous and friendly and the other guests all seemed very happy! Our children went off to group very, very excited every day. I believe this is the best family vacation we've ever had! Thank you! ” — D & D, Greensboro, NC, Inn #3 — 2007
Everything about Tyler Place is wonderful. This family-run camp is like no other. The Tylers make it special - from Ted giving Frank lessons on how to catch the trapeze to Chad laughing his hardy laugh during a game of Celebrities. You guys are the best - thank you for a fabulous week. ” — F & M, West Newton, MA, Lakeview — 2007
Everything was great this year. We have tried different activities every year and after 5 years we can say that all of them have been great. The kids really loved the programs - not a single complaint from them all week! As usual, the food was fantastic - the best chicken soup we've ever tried! ” — C & E, Huntington, NY, Sandpiper — 2007
Extraordinary! Great guests, great staff, best family vacation! The Tyler Place has perfected the summer vacation. ” — I & M, Wellington, FL, Hickory — 2007
Great activities, very friendly staff. Picture-perfect old-fashioned fun. Huge variety of top-notch equipment across so many sports and activities. Great mix of couple and family time. All first rate! ” — S & D, Rockville, MD, Laura — 2007
Having two children under 3 is tough - this was the perfect vacation and we look forward to coming back. ” — J & D, Closter, NJ, Ferncroft D — 2007
I enjoyed meeting people from all over the U.S. We love the accommodations, the food and the champagne cruise and adult and kid activities. ” — M & E, Long Beach, CA, Pintail — 2007
I had okay expectations regarding food, but I was impressed by the variety and quality. Excellent - I ate more than I needed to! The Parents' Helpers are fantastic - I rally enjoyed eating dinner by myself! I like that I wouldn't want an all day program. I love having separate rooms for my child and us to sleep in! ” — C & S, Austin, TX — 2007
I heard that Jerry Seinfeld once said 'there is no such thing as fun for the whole family!' I think that Jerry is wrong and The Tyler Place is 'Exhibit A'. ” — S & S, Vienna, VA, Inn #104 — 2007
I knew my big kids loved T.P. (being our 5th year) but I never could have imagined how much my 2 1/2-year-old would enjoy it. Thanks for a great vacation! ” — C & A, Burke, VA, Inn #115-116 — 2007
I loved feeling like a camper myself!! Once I stopped over-programming (and I loved all of the scheduled events!), I was able to meander, try tubing (I loved it) and swim in a lake for the first time. I feel strong, athletic and relaxed and the kids have had the time of their lives. ” — L & J, El Segundo, CA, Tyler South — 2007
I would recommend The Tyler Place to anyone with children and I wish we had discovered it sooner! Our three girls were in the Pre-Teen and Teen groups and loved all of the activities, especially on the lake. The girls had a great time on their camping trip. They loved the tubing and Banana boat! ” — S & K, Tallahassee, FL, Bluebill — 2007
I've been coming off and on since I was a child 35 years ago. My family and The Tyler Place gets better every year! ” — R & P, Forest, VA, Winnie's — 2007
In our quest to find high quality family activities, The Tyler Family Place is a dream come true. The relaxed, open atmosphere, coupled with the all-around excellence of the facilities are a perfect match for our family. Honoring the couple within the family helps restore us to a sense of rejuvenation. ” — G & R, Topsfield, MA, Inn #4 — 2007
In this day and in this age, few people or institutions know who they are and what they wish to be. The Tyler Place is a recherche destination in that its personality is without insecurities or pretension. We enjoyed that aspect of it. For those to whom the 'Tyler way' would be appealing, we recommend it without reservation*. *No pun intended. ” — R & E, Darien, CT, Inn #101 — 2007
It feels like 'coming home' when we arrive at The Tyler Place each year. We look forward to seeing familiar staff and guest faces. The top-notch care our kids receive in their groups is something we all look forward to all year. We've already made our reservation for 2008 and the kids (all four of them!) are counting down. ” — J & C, Flower Mound, TX, Woodcrest — 2007
It is SO great that The Tyler Place takes great care of your children no matter how old they are (or how young they are!!). While children of all ages are being well taken care of and thoroughly entertained, adults have a wide variety of activities to choose from. Or, one may choose to do nothing at all. Parents enjoy their time so much more when they see how happy their kids are. The Tyler Place is a perfect balance for family fun. Parents can indulge themselves morning and night while kids are at camp, but there is still plenty of family time in the afternoons to spend together. We especially like the idea of kids dining with their groups. ” — R & C, Baton Rouge, LA, Tyler South — 2007
It is the only place you can go, have it rain everyday and the whole family still had a great week! ” — S & T, Wyoming, DE, Carriage House I — 2007
It just offers endless activities for children and adults. It gives all of us opportunities to try new things. ” — E & P, Wyckoff, NJ, Carriage House III — 2007
It was a pleasure to share a vacation with our kids and know that the kids were loving every second of their time. My 8 & ll-year-old asked to come back next year as soon as they completed their first morning of group activities. My 3-year-old was ready to see his friends every morning and night by Tuesday morning. ” — W & E, Toledo, OH, Ferncroft F — 2007
It's been a great 10 years! We'd recommend this place to anyone looking for quality adult time, kids group activities and facilities and staff. ” — J & S, Poway, CA, Carriage House II — 2007
It's hard to believe that we first came in 1988 when we had a 3-year old. Now he's 22 and comes as an adult, along with his older sister and her 6-year old (this is his 4th year) - the good news for us: our older son and his wife are expecting a baby so I see the Tyler tradition going forward for several more years! ” — J & L, Troy, NY, Franklin House II — 2007
It's wonderful to come back again for our 6th visit and participate in completely different activities. First time in the lake for me! Our son speeding off on his bike to group. Our other son hanging loose with his Pre-Teen friends. Plenty of time for the newspaper. It's great to be greeted like old friends by the staff (and to feel like old friends, too). We'll have to switch to next week but we know we'll see other friends there. Thanks again for a great week. ” — D & D, Washington, DC, Butterball — 2007
Mention a vacation at Tyler Place and my daughter starts a countdown. My husband and I come from families that love good food and enjoy long dinners. Mealtime at Tyler Place can be a delicious experience. ” — L & M, Southbury, CT, Champlain — 2007
My children (5, 7 and 9) were having such a fantastic time that I enjoyed a bona fide vacation with my parents and siblings. This is the dreamiest place for a family reunion - all the children/cousins really reconnected and so did the adults. ” — C & L, Coral Gables, FL, Carriage House IV — 2007
On the very first night of our arrival our 9-year-old son told us 'Daddy, I love this place. We must come back next year!' This was our first of many years at Tyler Place - a one-of-a-kind family vacation oasis! ” — P & Z, Chevy Chase, MD, Ferncroft C — 2007
Once again, we have had a wonderful week at Tylers . We have met new friends, tried new sports & activities and watched our children have as much fun as us in their programs. It's simply our favorite vacation spot! ” — E & M, Pittsfield, MA — 2007
Our 'personal' bike ride to Rollo Road was spectacular, made even better by a breakdown and within 40 minutes - a fresh bike which the Bike Shop people thoughtfully brought to us. Amazing! ” — J & D, New York, NY, Stork — 2007
Our 5-year old daughter has absolutely flourished this week. I have never seen her so ecstatically happy. ” — N & K, Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canvasback — 2007
Our 8th year - again, fabulous! This year our son was 14 so we never saw him 'til curfew and only if we were not yet asleep. I actually got bored during the day - no one to play with!! ” — P & W, Ivyland, PA, Farmhouse South — 2007
Our children have made friends from all parts of the country at The Tyler Place. We stay in touch, but mostly we look forward to seeing each other again. This was our 8th visit to Tyler Place. New activities are added every year and we appreciate the beauty of Lake Champlain more and more each summer. Looking forward to at least 8 more visits to Tyler Place! ” — B & L, McLean, VA, Bluebill — 2007
Our daughter - age 8: 'I loved pontoon fishing and learning to kayak.' Our 8-year-old gained a sense of independence as she cycled to and from her program. We had a wonderful week of physical challenges, relaxation, great conversations with new friends (uninterrupted!). Thanks! ” — M & M, Madison, CT, Sandpiper — 2007
Our daughter, age 2: I'd like to live here. ” — L & D, Weymouth, MA, Partridge I — 2007
Our family - son, daughter - spouses - grandkids - take an annual vacation every year. We have been doing this since '92. Tyler Place wins our vote for Number 1! What a wonderful place, the staff is the best! Thanks for taking such good care of us. All 12 of us really enjoyed our stay. Everything was done to make us very happy. Job well done! Adult dining is a smart idea - gives parents a break, also cocktail hour was fun!! ” — C & B, Bradenton, FL, Quail — 2007
Our favorite week of the year - worth the major schlep from Los Angeles. Y'all think of everything! ” — C & J, Los Angeles, CA, Farmhouse Up — 2007
Our first year at Tyler Place was a tough one with a teething infant and very active 3-year-old. We left exhausted but saw potential. We have been coming back to Tyler ever since and it just gets better every time. It is a vacation for everybody and everybody looks forward to The Tyler trip each summer. We are always pleasantly surprised with upgrades and improvements and the welcome smiles of familiar faces. ” — A & S, Ridgefield, CT, Stork — 2007
Our Jr. Midget had an amazing time. He raved about his counselors as well as activities. Tyler Place packed so much fun into his schedule. ” — H & R, Westfield, MA, Inn #4 — 2007
Our kids are prouder about 'graduating' from one group to another than to pass on to a higher grade in school. Tyler Place has been very important for their development. And of course, it's wonderful for the parents. ” — P & E, Paris, Redhead — 2007
Our kids are super shy and we are big time worry warts". This week has really helped our kids and us grow more independently and as a family. We feel that our kids are so much more prepared now for kindergarten/pre-school. We will be back next year. Special thanks for Chad's hospitality. You have the best counselors ever! ” — M & P, Collierville, TN, Tyler Up — 2007
Our kids have grown up coming to The Tyler Place every August and have made lasting friendships here. Meanwhile, we have looked forward every year to a week of freedom from the demands of constant childcare, meal planning and preparation, laundry, etc. - and from the constant influence of television, computers and car travel in our lives. The Tyler Place gives us all a place to enjoy being relaxed in a gorgeous natural setting, away from all that. ” — C & N, Chevy Chase, MD, Cedar — 2007
Our little son started walking here this week becoming the second of our three boys to take their first steps at Tyler Place. What great memories! ” — B & L, Kensington, MD, Franklin House II — 2007
Our son - 14 - Everyone was very welcoming. I got to try a lot of new things. The counselors were funny and helpful. ” — P & B, Washington, PA, Elmwood West — 2007
Our stay was great, even after 8 years, our vacation exceeded our expectations. Some staff members more exceptional handling a few teenage mishaps with great poise & kindness - Cat in the teenage group & JJ at the dock in particular. Luke in tennis was really the best pro that I remember. Helpful, friendly with interpersonal skills. ” — D & L, East Greenwich, RI, Willow — 2007
Our three girls were in the Pre-Teen and Teen groups and loved all of the activities, especially on the lake. The girls had a great time on their camping trip. They loved the tubing and Banana boat! ” — S & K, Tallahassee, FL, Bluebill — 2007
Over the past 9 years The Tyler Place has become our favorite vacation place - opening week is the true beginning of summer for us. For our daughter, The Tyler Place outranks even Disney World. She wants to return as a counselor to be able to share her enthusiasm and love of this oasis with other children. On this trip, she also commented that when she marries and has children, she wants to bring them here - another generation of Tyler Place enthusiasts - Your formula is successful - thank you for the past 9 years. We and our daughter look forward to many more. ” — M & P, Bedford, MA, Inn #103 — 2007
Rain or shine, this is a place of magic and laughter, really. Every year we meet guests (old and new) and connect in a unique way - either by trying a neat activity or through our children. ” — J & E, Winchester, MA, Willow — 2007
So glad we could join you again this year and would have been so disappointed if we had missed 'opening weekend' at T.P. - a tradition for our family! Thanks! ” — A & P, Grosse Pointe, MI, Butternut — 2007
Staff was nicer than ever. The grounds are beautiful, especially the gorgeous flowers and landscaping. Our kids had the time of their life - especially the increased freedom over what they have at home. Crafts were great. Very relaxing! ” — D & L, Potomac, MD, Inn #101 — 2007

The baby was exposed to so many activities he will rule the house when we return! ” — J & S, Poway, CA, Ferncroft A — 2007
The combination of time with kids, time alone and time as couple is a winning one. This is the first full week of vacation we've had since we became parents 6 years ago! The staff were great and very helpful. It was a week of 'firsts' for our 6-year olds...learning to ride bikes, water-skiing and kayaking to name just a few. ” — T & A, Wynnewood, PA, Woodcrest — 2007
The counselors make it a truly great experience - our son really bonded with his counselor in the Juniors group; and both kids rode bikes for the first time - without training wheels - something I could never accomplish at home! ” — K., Wilton, CT, Quail — 2007
The counselors' creativity is unmatched - I mean to turn a miserable, rainy afternoon into an exciting afternoon of mud sliding that the kids look forward to it, brilliant! ” — D & M, Greenbrook, NJ, Davies — 2007
The facilities were great. The food much better than expected. The property is much more beautiful than you could imagine from the brochure. The card trickster was splendid. The minnow races were great fun. We really appreciated the effort that was made to introduce the guests to each other. The group activities were great in this regard. ” — R & K, Ottawa, Ontario, Inn #103 — 2007
The food was delicious and interesting and always there were many healthy choices. And some decadent ones! The staff was unfailingly warm and courteous. And our kids loved every minute. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the wide variety of activities for adults and children. You have the opportunity to design your own vacation by participating in sports and activities or just doing nothing. ” — D & K, Novato, CA, Woodcrest — 2007
The staff, as always, was fantastic. Some of our family relaxes by playing hard; some of us relax by barely playing at all. This gave each of us a way to enjoy ourselves. Keep it up. ” — I & S, Piedmont, CA, Inn #103 — 2007
The summer camp that every kid dreams of - the perfect escape that every busy parents longs for! The Tyler Place is the only resort that provides for the smallest of infants, while making sure that adults have time to rest, reconnect and restore their batteries. The Tyler Place exceeded all of our expectations! The counselors and staff were all incredible. We had an amazing time and can't wait to come back next year. What better way to spend a true family vacation. My 3 1/2-year-old twins want to live here! ” — J & W, Sarasota, FL, Inn #117-118 — 2007
The Tyler Place is a fantastic all-inclusive vacation with soul! The people who work here love the place and are great at what they do! ” — M & J, Brookline, MA, Ferncroft E — 2007
The Tyler Place really has it down...from the friendly responsible staff to the many choices of adult and family activities, the amazing kids camp to gentle (but expert) toddler care, all of us had a fabulous vacation. My husband and I had so much fun canoeing, biking, reading and sailing during the day, knowing our 4-year-old was having an absolute ball at camp, and our infant was being so well taken care of by our Parents' Helper. Tyler Place surpassed our expectaions of what a family vacation could entail with two small children! Thank you for going out of your way to ask how our son was doing when he was sick too...so many caring people. Your summer staff is amazing. I know we'll be hearing about our son's counselors during the 7-hour drive home...and for months to come. They made quite an impression! We look forward to this becoming a summer tradition that all 4 of us will look forward to! ” — J & E, New Canaan, CT, Farmhouse Up — 2007
The Tyler Place took great care of our oldest as a baby, and this year our 10-year-old and 7-year-old both had a blast. Mom and dad got some couple time, boys get a combination of fun with friends and fun with family, everybody's happy. ” — D & K, Bedford, NH, Tyler North — 2007
The Tylers think of everything. You walk to a scenic outlook and there's a hammock. You're relaxing by the pool and someone appears to offer chair massages. It's magic! Our 6-year-old would wake up at 6:30 a.m. saying, 'Can I go to group now?' ” — S & L, Chicago, IL, Inn #102 — 2007
The whole family had a wonderful time. Counselors, staff and Parents' Helper really allowed everyone to have a vacation! (That includes the parents.) ” — T & V, Hollidaysburg, PA, Carriage House IV — 2007
The wonderful kid programs and Parents' Helpers allow you, for a week, to remember what it was like before kids. You get to do what you want, all the while knowing your child is well cared for by warm, friendly, trained staff who expose the kids to a variety of fun and developmental outdoor and indoor activities. ” — V & B, Ferndale, MI, Ferncroft D — 2007
There is really good 'Karma' at T.P. for returning guests, the sense of relaxation permeates as you drive onto the property on the beginning day. The kids look forward to it all year. Both kids and parents develop enduring friendships. You really can't find this at the Quality Inn. Good job, Tylers! ” — D & S, Woodbridge, CT, Whistler — 2007
There is something almost mystical about the way fine food and age-appropriate physical activity combine to bring people together at The Tyler Place. Sharing common experience through carefully guided events clearly adds an interpersonal dimension to the vacation that is missing from many resorts. ” — T & L, Wallingford, PA, Inn #4 — 2007
There is something here for everyone in the family - activities that appeal to each of us - yoga, crafts, sports, a big group of teens that like 'to hang out' together. As a mom, it is a total vacation - no cooking, no cleaning, no laundry and the whole family is busy and happy. ” — P & B, Phoenix, AZ, Pintail — 2007
There is something special about the lake and the water activities that is unique to Tyler Place. For the adults the freedom to be as active or as 'relaxed' as one wants in the company of true friends makes this a real vacation. ” — W & K, Gaithersburg, MD, Inn #115-116 — 2007
Things we like best: the people! The Tylers and all of the folks they collect to run this fine place. The setting is bar none - gorgeous. We get to have fun without doing any work. We are cared for exquisitely from the boat dock to the dining room to the front desk. The Tyler Place restoreth the family and every member within. We are much better people - happier and healthier than when we came! Thanks! ” — R & M, Fairfield, CT, Davies — 2007
This is an excellent resort - actually many good things about it. I loved the relaxed atmosphere even at dinnertime. The children are well looked after and they are happy. Our house - was very clean and well cared for. ” — P., Bradenton, FL, Lisa — 2007
This is my first year back as a grown-up and I loved it as much as I did for the six summers I came here as a child. The Jr. Midgets program was terrific for our daughter - she loved catching fish & sprinkler time and the stories her warm & outgoing counselors read. And our daughter wasn't the only one who had fun - we found a pleasant group of people, mostly parents of other Jr. Midgets, to eat and laugh with. ” — M & S, Basking Ridge, NJ, Inn #101 — 2007
This is our 4th year back and the 4th year that our expectations have been met or been exceeded. Our children find joy in seeing their old friends from previous years and making new friends throughout the week! ” — D & J, Fairhaven, NJ, Inn #115-116 — 2007
This is our 6th year coming this week and it is such a pleasure to watch the children grow into things; first time riding a bicycle 2-wheel or 3-wheel, tubing, water-skiing. We look forward to this vacation all year long. ” — R & H, Locust Valley, NY, Winnie's — 2007
This is our second year coming and we are satisfied customers again! Where else can you go and make a 13-month-old, 4, 5, 13-year-old and two 40-somethings happy? We enjoyed the truly hospitable nature of the Tyler family. Thank you and bless you for your magical place. ” — M & K, Wildwood, MO, Lisa — 2007
This is the quintessential New England camp experience of my wife's and my youth that we can share with our children. We are blown away by the amount of thought and care that goes into ensuring guests and children have a positive experience. From the umbrellas in each cottage to the incredible variety of activities you have clearly thought long and hard about how to delight us every year. Thank you. ” — P & J, Newton, MA, Ferncroft F — 2007
This place is great, but only if you like hours of uninterrupted adult time, sparkling dinner conversation, being spent and happy from having so much to do and smiling, exhausted kids! ” — J & K, Brooklyn, NY, Elmwood West — 2007
This was a win/win vacation for families - we get much-needed free time and the kids have a phenomenal camp experience. The bicycles for everyone is almost worth the price of admission on its own. Our kids don't get to ride bikes around like they do here. There have been so many 'firsts' for our kids in the past week. It is exciting to see them try new things and succeed - rock wall, kayaking, water slide, pony ride, etc. ” — T & J, Bethesda, MD, Quail — 2007
This was our first year and everyone made us feel immediately welcome. Having a list of families was helpful so one could remember names. We wish it didn't end so soon. ” — S & K, Washington, DC, Teal — 2007
This was our first year and it has been the perfect family vacation. It's such a pleasure for parents to actually have a vacation as well as the children. You have discovered the perfect formula! I love the fact that nearly all services/meals are included. It's an incredible value! The food has been unbelievably delicious and varied. ” — R & L, Darien, CT, Inn #101 — 2007
This was our first year at T.P. and the best vacation we've had since our kids were born - and a close second only to our honeymoon. We're already looking forward to coming back next year. Thanks for giving us the opportunity to meet new friends, try new activities and time together as a couple. ” — C & S, Harvard, MA, Sandpiper — 2007
This was our second summer here and if possible we all had even more fun. In one week our 4-year old son has developed more confidence then we thought possible. I guess riding ponies, catching fish and making new friends will do that. That is just a bonus added to the fantastic memories we will take home with us. Thank you, Tyler family! ” — D & S, Windsor, CT, Canvasback — 2007
Three generations of The Tyler family are fully invested in guaranteeing you a successful vacation - happy (& tired) kids, recharged parents, along with opportunities to explore northern New England during its most playful season to discover your own hidden talents as a water sports enthusiast, an artist or even a Triathlete. Local legends such as Nature Dave (who will ensure that your child hauls in the catch-of-the-day) and entertainer, Charles Pratt (who will have you and your new friends belting out show tunes & tapping out Jazz beats) all add to the charm of The Tyler Place. ” — A & P, Topsfield, MA, Carriage House II — 2007
Tyler Place is a wonderful 'family' destination. We have never been to a place that accommodates children so well. It is a place you can 'let your hair down' and truly forget about the outside world. As the week progresses, the stress melts away. Nice having water everywhere! ” — J & J, Bradenton, FL, Lisa — 2007
Tyler Place is an oasis and sanctuary from the stresses of daily living, bar none. Bless you all! ” — D & L, Harrington Park, NJ, Inn #1 — 2007
Tyler Place is our new family tradition. Year #2 was great - looking forward to #3. We researched 'all-inclusive family resorts' and there is NO one else who provides the breadth and quality of programs, staff and facilities. Well worth the drive from Illinois for our family. While here our 4-year-old learned to swim and go underwater. The 7-year-old mastered all things aquatic and we learned to sail! Thank you! ” — G & M, Decatur, IL, Inn #102 — 2007
Tyler Place is the happiest place on Earth! The childcare is so fantastic and the community of staff, counselors and guests is so secure that it gives children a sense of confidence and independence. It is the best family vacation. We have made friendships and memories which will last a lifetime. Thank you! ” — M & S, Los Angeles, CA, Cedar — 2007
Tyler Place: it's real and it's spectacular. I challenge you to find a better family vacation spot anywhere for almost any price. All adults and kids of all ages will be happy here. ” — S & A, Beaconsville, Quebec, Ferncroft D — 2007
We came with the hope of finding the perfect family reunion/vacation place for our family of 10 adults and 4 kids - and we did. Our time here was memorable on every level - the organized activities were terrific, the kids loved every minute and the grownups had plenty to keep busy (or not!). Mealtime was a genuine treat everyday - the food and sense of community served up were exceptional. Most of all, the feeling of friendship among the guests and staff is truly unique and special here. The hard work put into hiring and training is evident in so many small ways; it is a real achievement and T.P. should be proud of it. Without question, the most fulfilling, relaxing, fun and memorable vacation any of us have ever had. Thank you! ” — N & D, Everett, WA, Pintail — 2007
We enjoy Tyler Place more and more each year. This year, our 4-year old son, Henry, told us, 'I love this place. I will remember this place, even when I'm not here.' ” — M & H, Wilmette, IL, Champlain — 2007
We enjoyed our second year here. Even though the weather was not the greatest, the staff made every effort to make up for the challenges of bad weather. Our daughter made new friends and my wife and I enjoyed seeing the great people we met last year! Loved fishing with Dave. He did a great job. ” — R & K, Worthington, OH, Inn #101 — 2007
We had 7 older teens - they had a wonderful time. It's wonderful how the T.P. seems perfect for all ages. ” — P & M, Wyoming, PA, Hickory — 2007
We had a great time and plan to return for our 4th year next summer. The sense of freedom and relaxation are wonderful . It is great to meet up with old friends again! ” — V & D, Short Hills, NJ, Inn #115-116 — 2007
We had a great week. The staff are wonderful and our children had opportunities to try so many new things. Even our 1-year old went on a boat ride. It's really unique to find a vacation where we can spend time as a family, a couple and also explore our own interests. ” — F & A, Hingham, MA, Ferncroft D — 2007
We had another wonderful week here. It goes by too fast. The kids had their usual terrific time in their groups and we had a BLAST doing some old favorite activities as well as trying some new activities. The staff is always warm, friendly and helpful and it's truly our favorite week of the year. Looking forward to '08!! ” — I & R, Southborough, MA, Davies — 2007
We have been coming to The Tyler Place since my 13-year-old was 3. He has enjoyed it just as much every year. The whole family looks forward to our week at T.P. - fun activities, good friends, fabulous food and the beauty of the property and the lake. ” — J & J, Niantic, CT, Redhead — 2007
We honestly loved it ALL - the food, the wonderful staff, the activities but here are the standouts: Water activities - my kids did it all: Banana boat, kayaking, fishing and more - great variety of activities for kids & adults. Also, everyone is so willing to accommodate any need. Thank you! ” — G & M, Baltimore, MD, Sandpiper — 2007
We love your children's staff, the food is great, accommodations are clean, activities are abundant. Everything is well thought out, from umbrellas to the stools for kids in the bathrooms. ” — R & L, Marblehead, MA, Goldeneye — 2007
We loved the relaxation and the time together. It was like being on a date every night! It is also so great to know that our son had a blast with other children his age. We think this is an ideal vacation for those with young children. ” — M & M, Versailles, KY, Hickory — 2007
We loved the spa cuisine. Nature Dave is awesome. We went on the nature hike, family fishing and kayak trip with him. He is a treasure. Dave and Megan of adult events were so nice to be with and they do a great job. John at the night desk went out of his way to help me. One night at 1:00 a.m. I was having leg cramps from low potassium and I needed a banana. I walked to the Front Desk and John went down to the kitchen and searched until he found one. You have an amazing staff of kind, professional people. We enjoyed meeting Ted, Pixley and Chad. ” — W & J, Louisville, KY, Inn #7-8 — 2007
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Tyler Place. Our daughter (age 9) said, 'The Tyler Place is more fun than Disney world!'. Thanks for a great time. ” — T & J, Glenmoore, PA, Inn #117-118 — 2007
We were able to vacation as a family while spending quality time as a couple. I've never met such friendly and outgoing guests! The staff is top-notch. ” — R & J, Voorhess, NJ, Lisa — 2007
We would like to thank the Tyler Place, especially for arranging for babysitters while our son was sick. This gesture and generosity was greatly appreciated! The Tyler Place is absolutely magical. No detail goes unnoticed and no convenience is overlooked. The property is wonderful, the accommodations are comfortable, the staff is attentive and the programs are excellent. Oh - and the food is too tasty! We over-indulged in all the good stuff all week long. ” — S & C, Richmond, MA, Partridge II — 2007
We're constantly amazing and impressed with the high quality and all your offerings - accommodations, food, programs, facilities - you do a marvelous job! ” — T & S, Greenport, NY, Inn #2 — 2007

What an amazing week! We can't imagine how it could be better. Seven days of sun, nature, water sports, NO TV! No phone and time with family - what could be better?! Thanks so much. ” — B & E, Alexandria, VA, Stork — 2007
When I read your brochure I thought, 'This sounds too good to be true', but we'll try it anyway. Tyler Place turned out to be everything that was promised and much, much more. We also appreciated the little details around the property like hammocks and chairs in nooks and crannies of the property and lovely landscaping. ” — L & D, Red Bank, NJ, Carriage House I — 2007
When searching the Internet, I typed in 'kid-friendly all-inclusive resort', blindly looking for a place that would entertain my husband, my daughters and me. Finding Tyler Place was easy, but falling in love with it was effortless. From the accommodations to the programs, to the staff, to the food, this vacation has been our best so far. Coming here again is something we are looking forward to and we haven't even left. Thanks so much! ” — A & A, Milford, OH, Carriage House III — 2007
