The sheer level of detail and staffing (we have close to a one-to-one ratio of guests to staff) puts the Tyler Place children's and adult activities in a class of their own among family resorts.  One reason The Tyler Place works so well for families and family reunions with a wide range of ages is that there are so many sports, activities and programs all fine tuned for each age group, interest and skill level.  Whether a family activity or an individual one, activities are hands-on, fun and engaging.  And one of the luxuries of having only a 15-week season from May to September is that our family and staff have all year to plan the fun.  Some activities date back to our parents' childhood. Some are new just this year which is why The Tyler Place is nostalgic and cutting edge all at the same time.
