How to get there:
1. Take Route 7 North (you must get on I-89 for a short distance just before the border) to the Canadian border. I-89 becomes Canada's Route 133. Follow it north until it runs into Route 10 West. Disregard Route 104 West.
2. Take 10 West into Montreal and over the Champlain Bridge.
3. Take Autoroute Bonaventure, Centre/ville to downtown. The Autoroute becomes University Street.

Biodome - This unique concept of a living museum presents live collections of plants and animals in a natural environment setting. Five ecosystems are presented: the Tropical Forest, the Laurentian Maple Forest, the Gulf of St. Lawrence, the Labrador Coast and the Sub-Antarctic Islands. Botanical Garden - The world's second major botanical garden presents an extraordinary plant collection on over 182 acres. It has more than 26,000 species and varieties, representing flora from around the world. The Dream Lake Friendship Garden - Conceived and built in China for the Montreal Botanical Garden, this garden was inspired by the water and mountain gardens of the Ming Dynasty. It has sixteen landscapes covering 6 acres.

Japanese Garden and Pavilion - True to Japanese tradition, the abundantly flowered garden express the beauty and joy of nature.

Insectarium - Butterflies and scarab beetles, bees and giant stick insects...and thousands more insects from all over the world. See insects in a new light by discovering just how useful, ingenious and beautiful they really are. La Ronde - A Six Flags amusement park. The facility, which opened as part of Expo '67, today offers some forty rides and attractions, including the Goliath, one of North America's highest and fastest roller coasters. 22 Chemin Macdonald, Ile Sainte Helene.

Montreal Museum of Fine Arts - The oldest art museum in Canada. Sixty-five rooms show works from antiquity till now. Several important collections of engravings, drawings, sculptures, paintings, furniture and silverware. Traveling blockbuster exhibitions. Montreal Planetarium - Suns and galaxies, planets and pulsars. Old Montreal - "Vieux-Montreal" constitutes one of North America's most remarkable architectural ensembles with one of the greatest concentrations of the 17th, 18th and 19th century buildings. A one-hundred acre jewel that is a favorite with visitors and throbbing with activity morning, noon and night. Wonderful shops and open cafes.

Olympic Park - Site of the 1976 Summer Olympic Games, the Park features futuristic architecture, including the World's tallest inclined tower, famous for its panoramic view and its sports complex.
