"The staff is absolutely incredible! When you say ask for something that you need/want, you really mean it. Everyone we encountered was friendly, helpful and accommodating. They also seemed to be having as much fun as we were. There is just not enough we can say about how great our family vacation was. "Probably all the usual things you hear, but . . .we loved dining separately from our children. All the meals were fresh, excellent and varied. The children's activities were wonderful and also varied - my son told me he doesn't want to go home because "everything I need is right here!" "Once again we had a wonderful week at T.P. (our 3rd). We love this week of no TV's, computers and phones. It was all about biking, canoeing, games & bonfires. Good old-fashioned fun. If only the other 51 weeks of the year could be like this! Each year the kids love the programs more and more. Great job on knowing what is age-appropriate at each level. Although your activities sound interesting, it was the staff who made them memorable - Michele & Sarah in pottery; John for waterskiing; Kayaking with Dan, Mel (what a teacher!) for tennis. Having a child w/food allergies & asthma, I found your staff (especially Jessica) to be so helpful & accommodating & I felt comfortable leaving him in their capable hands. I was so nice not having lots of extra charges for things appear, "nickel & diming" us and everything provided from equipment to food and entertainment was first quality. The magician was remarkable! "Natalya and the pony rides - my daughter loved riding with her. She was so kind. D: don't ever let this guy leave - he is so knowledgable and a great teacher. He helped my little girl reel in a 30" pike and it was the thrill of her life. Nance & the knitting class - she helped me all week long and at the end of the week insisted I take her needles & yarn for my ride home. What a special lady. John V - a great addition! "Compliments to the "Senior" counselors - Sam sprained his ankle & they went out of their way to make sure he could participate. At first Mike tried to "piggyback" but 80 lbs. Is a bit much. "We love the free time to do activities with other adults. We can go off knowing the boys are having great fun. It's hard to find activities to do with a 4 and 13 year old, but at Tyler Place Family Resort they both have activities geared to their age.
