Cozy, simple comfort in the New England tradition. Private cottages. Inn & guesthouse suites.
The Tyler Place’s 72 units are tucked here and there along the lakeshore, the woods, meadows and lawns. They offer an historic Vermont camp-community feel …without the tents! The Tyler Place also features a rambling, country Inn with a separate sleeping wing with 12 family suites and studios. Immediately upon arrival you’ll feel the community warmth of our Inn, as the hub and center of information and activity at the Tyler Place.
Family-Friendly Inn…
and Romantic Retreat for Parents!
Yes, The Tyler Place Inn really does combine all the features of an all-inclusive, family-friendly Inn as well as a romantic, country Inn for parents and adults. The Inn was designed specifically to meet The Tyler Place Family Resort’s signature mission: its unique balance of family time, couple time, kids’ time, and adult time. Centrally located near the Children’s Playhouse and Clubhouse, the Inn overlooks Edwards’ Bay, gardens, and “Lovers’ Lane” lawn where our grandparents met in 1884.

“The best vacation! Friends, food, so much fun, beautiful nature, cozy, comfy cottages. Cam & Maddy and Ollie were awesome!”
“I look forward to returning to The Tyler Place every year for the past 14 years. Today I met a guest who has been coming for 22 years – ever since his oldest was 1 year old! I totally understand what keeps us coming back: the location, the charming cottages, the amazing staff, terrific food and unforgettable activities for both children and adults. Friendships are forged here, too, since we reunite with many of the same families year after year. My favorite thing to do is talk to newcomers and tell them they’ll be back next year! So far, I’m always right!”
