Our kids look forward to coming every year and it is one of the highlights of their year. This was our 7th year. We love getting together with our friends, too, and plan to meet up at home this summer. Thanks! ” — L & D, Swampscott, MA, Week of May 27, 2011, Quail

They've learned the secret to providing a relaxing family vacation - parents are just as relaxed and happy as the kids when they have to go home. Our daughter (7 years old) actually complained after two family hours ‘when do I go back to camp’ - 2 hours in afternoon, out of the 4 hours, was already too much! ” — S & L, Audubon, NJ, Week of May 27, 2011, Ferncroft A
Great place to take the family. ” — J & T, Rosiclare, IL, Week of May 27, 2011, Ferncroft E

Amazing week - AGAIN! Our son got sick this week and the staff was amazing! Thanks for everything! ” — B & K, Del Mar, CA, Week of June 18, 2011, Franklin House II
The Tyler Place is the best family resort we've ever experienced. All of us have made wonderful friends here - friends for the other 51 weeks a year, not just the week we're at Tyler Place. There is magic here. The T.P. is an oasis of serenity, fun, civility and adventure in a world that too often lacks all of those things. ” — R & M, Chevy Chase, MD, Week of June 18, 2011, Canvasback
Activity choices were excellent. Also plenty to do when there was 'no thing' to do! Food was great! Desserts were even better! The lake and all lake activities were AWESOME! Kitchen staff and wait staff were great! ” — R & K, Fairfax, VA, Week of June 18, 2011, Inn #1

The jewel is the childcare and activities: they return tired, but having had tremendous fun. This, of course, makes all the parenting activities relaxing and enjoyable. And finally, the general friendliness of guests and staff… ” — R & T, Salt Lake City, UT, Week of June 18, 2011, Davies
The ability to make your own picture folder was terrific! Children's programs were great (as always). Good rainy day alternate activities (indoor tennis at St. Albans was nice). ” — W & J, Powhatan, VA, Week of June 18, 2011, Inn #101
Many vacations are simply fun…however, The Tyler Place is both relaxing and fun. A critical component of an excellent vacation is the relaxing element. The Tyler Place has the relaxing part perfected.
— C & S, Jasper, IN, Week of June 18, 2011, Inn #104
One week at The Tyler Place just feels like two. By turning off all of the devices and really just focusing on relaxing, having fun and being together, we always notice this and it's the only place it happens for us. It has also been consistently great in varying circumstances rain or shine - infants or toddlers, pregnant or not! Many thanks to you all for this treasured vacation. See you next year! ” — K & K, Newtown, CT, Week of June 25, 2011, Popcorn
This was our first year at The Tyler Place so we weren't sure what to expect but after only being there an hour we knew we wouldn't want to leave! ” — M & B, Raleigh, NC, Week of June 4, 2011, Butterball
I was a guest at The Tyler Place as a child from the age of 4 through 16 and had such fond memories of my time there. It was with great anticipation that I returned 20 years later with my husband and two young girls. Would it be the same? I'm thrilled to say that it was as fun, relaxing and inviting as I remembered. Although there have been many updates to the grounds and facilities, the warm energetic staff and Tyler family have kept the atmosphere as parent-and-child friendly as ever. See you next year and thanks for a great week! ” — P & E, Cranford, NJ, Week of June 4, 2011, Park

Once again, it felt like a true vacation! We reconnected with 'old' friends, relaxed and had fun all the while knowing our boys were having a blast! ” — M & J, Boulder, CO, Week of June 25, 2011, Park
On Wednesday of our stay, our middle child announced that he had a nightmare that consisted of having to leave The Tyler Place. Once again, a perfect vacation all around. The Tyler Place is food for our family soul and the soul of all the individuals within our family. ” — D & A, Hampden, ME, Week of June 25, 2011, Franklin House I
We always enjoy our stay here. It's a wonderful place for a family reunion. The staff is super. The food is wonderful and the Inn with the glass porch is a wonderful spot regardless of the weather. ” — T & J, Claremont, CA, Week of June 25, 2011, Inn #2
We feel like kids again the second we get our bikes! It's our favorite and the kids’ favorite vacation of the year. ” — C & L, Richmond, MA, Week of June 25, 2011, Chestnut

We loved Quail & Partridge for the ten of us. Cocktails in the Adirondack chairs and late evenings on Partridge's porch as well. ” — R & M, Meguon, WI, Week of June 25, 2011, Quail
We loved that the kids were busy and happy all day - never any complaints. What a fantastic opportunity for our kids to experience a kind of freedom that is completely unattainable in their normal (city) life. It was so relaxing for me to know they were happy and well cared for so I could enjoy time to myself. ” — N & C, Washington, DC, Week of June 25, 2011, Goose
To be at camp where your toddler is crying and banging his fist on the door of the Playhouse because we are early and cannot enter is priceless! ” — G & V, Houston, TX, Week of June 25, 2011, McGlynn
Our children enjoyed all of the activities - with their age groups and during family time. When the weather is warm we can't get enough of the water activities! Everyone enjoyed the wonderful food. ” — D & M, Oakton, VA, Week of June 25, 2011, Woodcrest
We loved the relaxed atmosphere, all the waterfront activities and the kids' activities. There is no way we would ever have the stamina or creativity to keep our kids busy having so much fun. Loved their accomplishments (caught a fish) and the counselors' encouragement for them to try new activities. The #1 reason we will be back is the one-on-one counselor for our son. It's the only way we could do this and it worked out fantastically! We came this week (our first trip to T.P.) thinking we would never use a babysitter and even anxious about our son's arrangement with a one-on-one. Sabina connected so quickly and so well with our son (and us) - we were so comfortable having him with her, it enabled us to relax, enjoy our vacation and even stay out late several nights!! ” — S & S, Arlington, VA, Week of June 25, 2011, Hickory
The kids feel independent, engaged and happy. The adults feel relaxed, engaged or happily disengaged, happy and well fed. A perfect combination. Kids are fed, too, but not hard to please. The 1:1 counselor has changed our lives for the better. ” — J & S, Maplewood, NJ, Week of June 25, 2011, Canvasback
As an extended family, our children are spread out from California - Colorado to New York - and The Tyler Place provided 'a home away from home' where the adults can pursue their individual interests, learn new pursuits, come together for 'adult time meals' and share their joys. The children come together after their morning activities and lunch with their peers or with their family to share quiet time back at their cabin - fishing, arts & crafts, swimming and a host of other activities. As grandparents our joy is seeing the excitement on their faces and memories they are making. ” — L & M, Rochester, NY, Week of June 25, 2011, Cedar
My 13-year old son had the time of his life. Outstanding activities, counselors and new friends. Oh, and he loved the food, too. ” — S & S, Los Altos, CA, Week of June 25, 2011, Mrs. T's
The Tyler Place is the most perfect and well-thought out family vacation. They have an excellent combination of activities and down time and the staff and Tyler family interact with the guests in a very friendly and helpful manner without pretense. ” — J & A, Berkeley, CA, Week of June 25, 2011, Farmhouse Down
Having just finished up our second year, I can confidently say that our stays here just get better and better - between the coveted adult time, the amazing children's programs and the tantalizing meals. We always leave wishing we had just one more day. ” — S & J, Charlotte, NC, Week of June 25, 2011, Woodduck
The Tyler Place is absolutely the best family vacation destination for families of all ages and all backgrounds. The parents rest and revitalize, while the kids are surrounded with making new friends and counselors that excite and make them smile every day while on vacation and want to come back every year! The kids meet and maintain friends from all across the U.S. and stay in touch all year long! ” — E & D, Devon, PA, Week of June 25, 2011, Winnie's
Having been to The Tyler Place as a child when I was 6, 7, and 8 years old (in ''79-'81), I think I've always measured vacations against The Tyler Place experience! I realize this now returning as an adult. I LOVED it as a kid and remember being disappointed in our family vacations after being here. Today, even without children, it's been a wonderful week - excellent adult choices - I had trouble choosing! And it gave us an opportunity to reconnect with family in a comfortable, first-class environment. My niece and nephew have loved it. I'd be happy to tell people about T.P. (and I have already) and will continue to do so. ” — J & A, New York, NY, Week of June 25, 2011, Ferncroft C
We love The Tyler Place! We look forward to it from the moment we leave every year and it never fails to live up to our expectations. The staff is amazing and every wish seems to be anticipated and fulfilled. We look forward to coming back for many years. ” — C & S, Harvard, MA, Week of June 25, 2011, Lakeview
Heaven on earth for our family of four! Healthy, happy and fulfilling! ” — D & L, Houston, TX, Week of June 25, 2011, Sandpiper
Our family came back after 25 years with the grandchildren. We have had a wonderful time. ” — P & A, Week of June 25, 2011, Ferncroft E
It is difficult to get into the mind of a 17-month old baby. Our son signs very well and has given you a great review. He keeps signing, 'I like'. He likes the pool, the bikes and the lawn at the Inn. He has signed 'I like' constantly since arriving. We spend 51 weeks every year counting the weeks until we get to come back. Then we spend all week here bemoaning how quickly the days go by. This is a family tradition that cannot be beat…also, we're really seeing the super growth in our children that comes from our annual Tyler Place trips. Green grass. Great food. Climbing a tree. Riding a bike. Swimming in a lake. Learning to sail or play tennis. This is the A+++ in old-fashioned family fun, quality time vacations. ” — J & L, Cherry Hill, NJ, Week of June 25, 2011, Willow
This is our 4th year here and it was just as great as ever. This is truly the only family vacation we have been on where mom gets a vacation, too! ” — D & L, Wilmington, DE, Week of June 25, 2011, Ferncroft F
My daughter always asks to return to The Tyler Place over a week's stay at the beach…she loves it here. And as parents, we always look forward to a relaxing week at the T.P., seeing those we know from last year and meeting new friends. The Tylers and their entire staff are so friendly and accommodating. ” — S & C, West Windsor, NJ, Week of June 25, 2011, Carriage House III
The Tyler Place concept is truly unique and depends on a certain precision to actually pull it off. Bringing hundreds of strangers together deep in Vermont and then helping every single family choreograph a full, active and fun vacation with great food has got to be extremely challenging. And yet, essentially, everything works perfectly, or at least seems to - and it works naturally. The kids can't wait to get to their group, parents can't wait to eat lunch and dinner, the entire staff is gracious and helpful, no one (staff or guests) are snobbish and basically everyone here raves about the experience. ” — S & A, Buckley, WA, Week of June 25, 2011, Inn #104
After five family vacations, The Tyler Place has not lost one ounce of magic - our summer get-away, much anticipated by all family members - still sparkles with promise and fulfillment for everyone.

— S & C, Richmond, MA, Week of June 25, 2011, Carriage House II
We had a wonderful family vacation! The staff, accommodations and activities were all great and exceeded our expectations. ” — J & D, Arlington, VA, Week of June 25, 2011, Teal
We love how happy each family member is here at The Tyler Place. The kids love their T.P. friends and counselors. The staff is terrific. They really make every effort to keep the guests and children happy. Thank you for our 7th great year!! ” — T & K, Far Hills, NJ, Week of June 25, 2011, Tyler South
The Tyler Place - my slice of heaven once a year. When we have discussed an additional family vacation, my son says, 'As long as you do not take T.P. away from me. Anything else MAYBE would be fine - if you were a kid, mom, you would understand why you cannot take T.P. away from me.' I have already started my 51-week countdown to T.P. Minnow Race was fun; thanks for having it. ” — T & C, Ringoes, NJ, Week of June 25, 2011, Tyler Up
We love the physical plant, staff, activities and now count some fellow guests as close friends. Most importantly, our kids look forward to going to group every day. ” — B & C, Manhattan Beach, CA, Week of July 2, 2011, Tyler Up
It's hard to say anything new after 12 years. However, we continue to have an amazing time at an amazing place. We look forward to our week here every year and we have just as much fun as we did our first year here. ” — J & H, Manlius, NY, Week of July 2, 2011, Mallard
We enjoy the fact that parents and children alike get a vacation. There is still 'family time' with wonderful activities, but the kids are often more ready to get back to their group than we were for them to leave 'family time'. ” — P & P, Nashville, TN, Week of July 2, 2011, Inn #103
Desserts were excellent. Breakfasts and lunches were great! Loved the soups! We loved the activities for our kids. They had a great time. Our 4-year old always wanted to be with her friends for breakfast, not mom and dad! We loved the location of Bayview; beautiful view and quick trip to everything. The activities offered for all ages are phenomenal. We enjoyed biking around all week. ” — B & J, Reynoldsburg, OH, Week of June 25, 2011, Bayview
We have thoroughly enjoyed our vacation and we hope to be back soon! I think you have thought of everything that a busy family needs and wants in their vacation…a perfect balance of family time and adult time!! Thank you! ” — M & D, Mansfield, MA, Week of July 2, 2011, Carriage House II
Once again, six kids and six adults (now 5 to 68 years old) enjoyed a wonderful week. Our grandchildren unanimously declare this T.P. vacation the best week of the year. We love watching them and our grown kids relax in this beautiful place. Thanks for the genuine hospitality, the focus on the entire family and for a job well done! Don't change - (except maybe add that platform tennis court I'm pushing for). ” — C & B, Salisbury, MD, Week of July 2, 2011, Mrs. T's
Every person in our family thinks it is our best week of the year. ” — C & K, , Week of July 2, 2011, Kingfisher
Program descriptions and past itineraries do not begin to define the culture of The Tyler Place. We had a great time and look forward to returning next year. ” — R & J, Loris, SC, Week of July 2, 2011, Ferncroft F
The Tyler Place = Heaven on earth. I appreciate that our feedback was taken on separating the Death Slide and diving board! ” — G & K, West Orange, NJ, Week of July 2, 2011, Bayview
The staff - each and every staff member and Tyler family member are resolutely positive. Everyone tries to solve problems rather than say, 'it can't be done'. Kudos to the laundromat couple, too - lovely people. Attention to detail: over the course of the week, you tend to notice the thought that has gone into small things, whether it is food or beverage or details of the adult activities. Little things mean a lot! ” — R & K, Ottawa, Ontario, Week of July 2, 2011, Inn #102
This has been the best vacation EVER!! One of the friendliest, most welcoming places I have ever been to. Something for everyone. I loved that my daughter and granddaughter both had a fun time. ” — M, Modesto, CA, Week of July 2, 2011, Tyler South
My wife and I have no kids, but never felt like we didn't have something to do. The Tyler Place has something for everyone. We had a great time. ” — M & J, Bloomfield, NY, Week of July 2, 2011, Carriage House I
Keep up the good work! We REALLY liked the meals without the children - breakfast with them was just fine! We had a GREAT time. Thank you so much!!! ” — W & J, Victor, NY, Week of July 2, 2011, Inn #4
Loved canoeing with Dave. We can listen to his stories all day! As always, we had a great week and look forward to our T.P. visit again next year! ” — J & K, Belmont, MA, Week of July 2, 2011, Carriage House III
The Tyler Place gives you the chance to peek in on your kids' summer camp experience - and for them to see their parents have fun the way kids do. What better family vacation could there be?! ” — S & A, Durham, NC, Week of July 2, 2011, Farmhouse West
This was the BEST family vacation we've ever had. We came with grandparents, brother/sister with no kids, and have three children of our own (2.5, 10, 12) and we ALL had something wonderful to do every day. We'll be back! ” — M & M, Sudbury, MA, Week of July 2, 2011, Franklin House II
This is our 3rd year with plans to come back again next year. We've met some very nice friends over these years and even stay in touch, with plans to meet again the same week next year. The staff is great, caring and always trying to make sure everyone has a wonderful time. It's hard not to - the beautiful grounds and plentiful activities are great, as are the counselors that watch after and entertain our children. ” — W & J, Newton, NJ, Week of July 2, 2011, Sandpiper
The Tyler Place was fantastic for our family reunion. Warm, friendly and skilled Tyler leadership is obvious throughout all venues, activities, facilities and staff. ” — T & I, Winchester, MA, Week of July 2, 2011, Inn #1
My kids are always happy. Counselors are enthusiastic, fun and responsible. A relaxing and enjoyable time for the whole family. I wish I knew about The Tyler Place when I was a kid. ” — S & A, Wellesley, MA, Week of July 2, 2011, Champlain
Loved the convenient check-in after a day of travel. Meals were fantastic. Loved the adult R & R and kids loved the children's programs! Kudos to a job well done! Five stars for sure. ” — T & C, Myerstown, PA, Week of July 2, 2011, Inn #104
This place is Heaven. Come get a preview before you die… ” — P & S, Brentwood, TN, Week of July 2, 2011, Laura
It was great to have the indoor tennis court option. ” — L & M, Raleigh, NC, Week of July 2, 2011, Farmhouse South
Another wonderful week! I'd like to spotlight housekeeping - after an off-the-cuff comment in a casual conversation at the Inn, there was a new clear shower curtain installed before we even made it back to the accommodation! ” — R & M, Oakville, Ontario, Week of July 2, 2011, Banqueet
In my next life, I want to come back as Ted Tyler! Thank you for another amazing week. ” — F & A, New York, NY, Week of July 2, 2011, Winnie's
Most relaxing vacation we've had since we had kids. Feels like 'summer camp for families'! Your staff is definitely your best asset. ” — L & E, Dayton, OH, Week of July 2, 2011, Lakeview
Best vacation for mom ever. Eight hours of guilt-free childcare and lots of family time, too! Love how it seems fresh to us every week even though it's the staff's sixth time doing the same thing. Love the good, old-fashioned fun, time to explore our inner kid! Many thanks to Meredith for giving us a swimming lesson after being rained out. We requested one and didn't expect it to happen. She was so great with our kids and went out of her way to accommodate us - much appreciated! ” — K & T, Mooresville, NC, Week of July 2, 2011, McGlynn
Fabulous family vacation. My kids (even the shy one) loved going to group. The counselors are so warm and welcoming. And my husband and I loved being able to have some time to ourselves. ” — T & J, New York, NY, Week of July 2, 2011, Inn #5-6
The Tyler Place makes us not only feel like extra-special, valued guests, but also like family, too. When our child fell ill, so many different staff members helped in so many different ways - from the Front Desk organizing a doctor appointment, to the kids’ chef sending over ginger ale and chicken soup, to the Sr. Midget counselors sending toys and books to our room. It was like being with extended family at a hotel. The other thing we like is how kids get to be kids here - they are able to be independent in a safe environment, exploring on their own and being themselves. ” — H & N, Pennsville, NJ, Week of July 2, 2011, Inn #3
The counselors are terrific. I've never been to a better run kids' program. I also really appreciate the laid back style of the inn, activities and adult programs. ” — Z & A, Severna Park, MD, Week of July 2, 2011, Willow
We had another great week at our favorite family vacation spot. Food, activities, time with friends, and time with family make The Tyler Place such a special and amazing retreat from daily life. My only complaint is that after I leave I have to take over cooking, cleaning and entertainment duties for myself again. ” — S & M, Phoenix, AZ, Week of June 4, 2011, Carriage House II
As second time guests and parents of a now toddler instead of 8-month old (like last year) we were mentally in a much better place to take advantage of the numerous options for socializing with other guests. We got to know people we met last year better. It was easier for us to meet new people this year. The dynamic of the week was very friendly. ” — C & H, Westford, MA, Week of July 9, 2011, Quail

After coming to The Tyler Place for the last 11 years it is the major summer calendar block. With children getting older and all in teen group this year I fear that we only have a few years left. All we can say is this place exceeded all expectations. This is the perfect place for kids and parents to have their own time and their time together to enjoy the activities or just relax. Everyone is SO friendly - both staff and guests. Having the photographers - candid and portrait - is a brilliant idea - allows parents to relax and also get great shots of their kids having fun. ” — K & S, Huntington, NY, Week of July 9, 2011, Inn #103
This was our 2nd year and everything was excellent (as expected!). Every staff member we spent time with was courteous, fun and full of energy. A few staff members deserve special mention for exemplary behavior with the kids and guests - Joel, Rem, Tim and the rest of the boat dock crew were great! Our boys also thoroughly enjoyed their counselors: Dan & Dave (Seniors) and Brad (Juniors) were exceptional! Kyle & Calvin were also great sitters. ” — T & K, Elmhurst, IL, Week of July 9, 2011, Inn #101

As first time guests, we were a bit skeptical about the ‘magic’ of this place, but by day #2 we could not think of a more perfect experience to escape to for a week ourselves! Our 5-year old asked if we could just 'live here' and my husband and I wonder just how we will be able to function (at home) next week without cooked meals, planned activities and a gorgeous and serene lake being just a stone throw away! ” — J & T, Glenville, NY, Week of July 9, 2011, Tyler Up

We loved the activities for our kids. They had a great time! Our 4-year old always wanted to be with her friends for breakfast - not mom and dad. We loved the location of Bayview; beautiful view and quick trip to everything. The activities offered for all ages are phenomenal. We enjoyed biking around all week. ” — B & J, Reynoldsburg, OH, Week of June 25, 2011, Bayview

Both my 8-year olds got up on water-skis this year - what a thrill! Special thanks to Dimitri for his patience - he jumped in the water to help steady them. He is a great teacher! Also, Dave and Dan were such wonderful counselors. We all had a fantastic time and made lots of memories. ” — D & B, Brooklyn, NY, Week of July 9, 2011, Ferncroft A
Amazing mix of relaxation and adventure. Perfect for our family - had activities for the Kamikaze (older son); laid back (younger son), the boss (my wife) and myself. Our kids really grew - physically and emotionally in the span of one week. ” — R & S, Charlotte, NC, Week of July 9, 2011, Whistler
We came from California - across the country to be with our children and grandchildren. We had a ball doing all the activities for adults while the kids were in camp - were able to enjoy lunch & dinner with adults - AND could play with the kids during the p.m. - at the pool, at the lake and all the other activities. It was a wonderful experience! Also we learned a lot of new skills. Loved riding a bike to everything. ” — M & M, Menlo Park, CA, Week of July 16, 2011, Inn #2

Disney could soon lose their reputation as the Happiest Place on Earth if more people learn about The Tyler Place. My daughter overcame her fears and went down the 'death slide' 24 times. Last year it was the mountain bike - and now she has one at home. The Tyler Place is a dream-come-true for families with young children. The parents are able to be as busy or relaxed as they please, while the children are having the time of their lives. From the moment I picked up my bike the first day until I dropped it off before dinner on the last day, I was liberated from my car and free to enjoy nature the way it was meant to be enjoyed. ” — R & J, Atlanta, GA, Week of July 30, 2011, Butterball
The all-inclusive family vacation for every age - The Tyler Place 'family' welcomes veteran families the same way they do the new families. It's an opportunity for adults and children to do things they never dreamed of in a safe, loving and fun environment. ” — H & M, Grosse Point Park, MI, Week of July 30, 2011, Inn #101
It's time to build the Giant Cottage for Guests who just don't want to go home - and I volunteer to be the first resident. If I had never experienced this idyllic, active, deliciously gastronomic, biking, hiking, boating, quality-time-with-and-without-progeny, annual retreat - I'd be wistful without even knowing why. ” — J & H, Georgetown, SC, Week of July 30, 2011, Woodcrest
This is a wonderful place for an inter-generational family vacation. It's beautiful, well-run and the children's and adult programs are excellent. You take care of the details very well. Thank you. ” — J & L, Vancouver, British Columbia, Week of July 30, 2011, Elmwood West
What I like is that I feel welcome by EVERYONE from the Front Desk to housekeeping to the wait staff. (And by all the other guests.) Our kids learned to fish, ride a bike and played harder than they have ever played! We were able to relax knowing they were having the most amazing time ever. The adult activities were wonderful and the food was amazing! ” — B & C, Jonesboro, AR, Week of July 30, 2011, Sandpiper

Every year this is our most relaxing vacation. And every year, our children request that we return! This year they were eagerly anticipating Capture the Flag, the Duckling Triathlon and graduating to the Big Zip Line. Also, we appreciate what a great job you do of finding local talent and bringing them to The Tyler Place to teach us their arts, sports, knowledge of the natural world and more. ” — C & N, Brooklyn, NY, Week of July 30, 2011, Canvasback

Thank you. ” — J & C, Carmel, IN, Week of July 2, 2011, Lisa

Our 20th year has been every bit as wonderful as our first! ” — B & R, Newark, DE, Week of August 6, 2011, Ferncroft E
Our kids look forward to The Tyler Place the entire year. The counselors are attentive and the activities are endlessly entertaining. More than anything, though, we appreciate the attention paid to satisfying guests' needs. When we needed a doctor recommendation, it was immediately provided. When I got my i-phone wet and wanted to try an unusual remedy suggested on the Internet (submerging it in uncooked rice to draw out the moisture), I was given a container of uncooked rice, no questions asked. When my husband needed a landline in order to do an interview on a national radio show, the office gladly obliged. We’ve never experienced customer service at that level. ” — D & R, Brooklyn, NY, Week of August 6, 2011, Park
Loved the place and enjoyed the family time as well as couples time. Great food. Loved the wide variety of options at meals - vegetarian, etc. ” — R & C, Washington, DC, Week of August 6, 2011, Partridge II
The attention to detail was apparent - from the food to the accommodations to the social activities. The food is outstanding. The Parents Helpers were so helpful. Really enjoyed the Parent Helpers. Love the activities for the children. It wasn't just babysitting - it was camp! ” — K & A, Baltimore, MD, Week of August 6, 2011, Lisa
We always assumed that when our oldest reached 16 that our Tyler days would be over. However, our 12-year old really wanted to come and our 16-year old came out of sense of duty. He is neither really a kid here and also not an adult. However, you made it work for him, even though he had no group, he joined many adult activities and felt quite welcome. He had a good time and he wants to come back next year with us. ” — D & J, New York, NY, Week of August 6, 2011, Chestnut
In today's society, there is a shortage of quality family time. The Tyler Place helps families take a step back to enjoy each other's company again. I will always remember the sunny Tuesday my 5-year old son took my hand after several thrilling zip line rides, looked up at me as we walked up the lawn towards the Inn, smiled and said, 'Dad, this is the best day ever.' ” — E & S, Chevy Chase, MD, Week of August 6, 2011, Whistler
We had another fabulous week at The Tyler Place - our 14th year. This was the first year one of our kids was a young adult and he had a great week. As always, the children's programs were excellent. 'Enchanting vacation that I want to do for the rest of my life' (our 8-year old daughter). Wonderful staff, beautiful resort, everything so well thought out. But most of all, special memories and friendships formed for all of us. Thank you! ” — N & D, South Windsor, CT, Week of August 6, 2011, Teal
We have vacationed at several family resorts over the years and are impressed with The Tyler Place. The kids loved camp and didn't want to miss one minute of it. The food for adults and teens was delicious and the Tylers do a great job of facilitating social interaction between the adults at the cocktail parties at the beginning of the week. ” — M & M, Chatham, NJ, Week of August 6, 2011, Inn #101
This was our seventh year and it just keeps getting better! The whole family had a fabulous week - everything was great from the staff to the activities to the food to (most importantly) the many friends we've made. It's always a little hard to leave, but we're comforted to remember - only 51 weeks until next year! Spending a week at The Tyler Place is a bit like spending a week with great friends you see infrequently - except that they make all your meals and clean up after you. It is the perfect blend of family time, alone time and couple time. The kids are always anxious to come back next year and I just count the days… G & D, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Gander, 7/30-8/6/2011
The magic that is The Tyler Place needs no improvement. They just need to let me continue coming forever! Waterfront staff: I seriously believe they are the primary reason we (and I believe I speak for all of our friends - something I do often!) have the time of our lives. We feel welcomed, special and…well, about 25 years old!! What could be wrong with that?! Special thanks to Tim, Quint, Joelman, Cody, Mason, Gordon, Devin, Casey, Dimitri, Rem. Ted, Pixley & Chad - you've done it again. The deep funk I'm in now is just a testimony to the vacation of a lifetime that only gets better year after year. I miss you all already. Please visit!
— S & P, Armonk, NY, Week of July 23, 2011, Popcorn
This was our fifth year at The Tyler Place. We seem to have a better time every year - which is amazing because our first year was fantastic. We have now watched our kids achieve multiple summertime milestones at the T.P. - riding bikes without training wheels, walking back to our cabin on their own if they wish, kayaking, etc. We feel so lucky to have found the T.P. five years ago. ” — W & E, Alexandria, VA, Week of August 6, 2011, Willow
When we asked our 12-year old son what he was looking forward to most at The Tyler Place, he immediately answered, 'independence'. The Tyler Place allows kids to be kids, explore the grounds and the lake, have fun with their friends and be free from the confines of urban/suburban living - all in a safe environment. ” — O & L, Chapel Hill, NC, Week of August 13, 2011, Gander

Our son had a fabulous time in his group and loved the counselors. ” — J & A, Hanover, NH, Week of August 13, 2011, Chestnut

We will miss the T.P. very much! ” — I & R, Southborough, MA, Week of August 13, 2011, Popcorn
Over the past five summers that we've come to the T.P., our children have loved the independence that comes with each passing year. The quality of the children's programs is extremely high - from the child/counselor ratio to the activities - also, somehow the kids end up bonding with other kids in six days. Food is fresh, excellent - (largely local) ingredients, well prepared with enough creative options to satisfy most appetites. Staff are attentive, friendly, helpful. There seems to be a deep commitment to keeping guests happy. ” — R & J, Havertown, PA, Week of August 13, 2011, Carriage House IV

The Tyler Place is really a unique place and hard to explain to people who haven't been here. It is really the only vacation we have been on where both the adults and children alike had fun. For adults, there are a myriad of activities. My husband enjoyed all of the active pursuits. My favorite part is not having to worry about, plan, shop for, prepare, serve or clean up after a single meal all week. Our kids like all of the fun things they get to do at camp and with their parent helper. ” — S & J, New York, NY, Week of August 13, 2011, Goose

And our 40-something bodies are sore from head to toe from the biking, hiking, jogging, swimming, yoga - it's like summer camp for adults.
